Well we’re done with the road tripping part for now. 36 hours since we took off from church the trip is going well so far. Other than one incident of a lady almost drifting into the Craig’s van and myself freakn out a bit at freak rainstorm that shot visiblity down to about 20 feet the trip went without any hitches
We stayed at a Presbyterian Church in Oklahoma last night and left around 7:45 this morning from there arriving in Birmingham at about 9:00 tonight. We saw a little preview of the tornado distruction as we drove in, and I think it impacted us all with even just the glimpse of one neighborhood that had been leveled. I was just looking at a old gas station that looked run down but when I looked behind it I saw an entire neighborhood that was destroyed. It put things in perspective for us all, we know why we’re here, pray that God uses us in great ways.
That’s all for now, sorry if this is a bit incoherent I drove the truck the whole way so I am a bit tired now and that bed is looking pretty inviting so I think I am going to call it a night and tuck myself under those white sheets.
